in the year 2000. To celebrate Cindy's 33rd birthday, I decided to post Tomas's card which I
found in a box of Cindy's papers. For those of you who don't know Tomas, he has a great sense
of humor, as you can see here that he is joking that it was Christmas when in reality it was
Cindy's birthday. The English is not perfect but the message is clear. To be honest, I could see
Cindy celebrating Christmas on her birthday, just to be different from everyone else. I am certain
that Cindy cherished the simplicity and thoughtfulness of this card more than any other gift she
could receive. Tomas's wish of a great happy life with Cindy did not happen and my heart goes
out to him over the holidays. To all of Cindy's family and friends, take a moment and light a
candle for her and tell her she is not forgotten.
