Over Thanksgiving we got to see Sharon and her husband Greg. At first I felt a little
anxiety, with seeing one of your close NYC friends again. Of course I was looking
forward to the meeting, but I was surprised by my initial reaction. By the time our
schedules synched and we saw them, it was really wonderful. Sharon sees a resemblance
to you in Sky, especially the way he stares. Sky was his usual self, turning on and off the
lights and being quite adorable. Greg gave him a cute plastic pirate pinball game which
Sky loves.
This will be the eighth birthday and a little over seven years that have been stolen from
you. It is easy to forget how much happens in one year. I thought perhaps I would post
the news during that time, but it was all too gruesome. Then I thought, why don't I turn
this to the lighter side of things, and list all the movies that you never saw. We all tend to
mark certain years by the movies we have seen. Wow, you never saw Spiderman, My
Big Fat Greek Weeding, two of the Star Wars movies, The Matrix Revolutions,
Terminator 3, The Bourne Supremacy, etc.
Of course a lot of movies on this list sucked, but at least if you were here we could talk
about just how bad they really were.
If they give you any time off for all the good angelic deeds I am certain you are doing, then
ask them to let you see a few on the list and then get back to me. I wont tell you which
ones are lemons, that is all part of the experience.
